All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examinations (AIPGMEE) are conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) situated in New Delhi. AIPGMEE certification is required to take admission in medical courses like MD, MS, MDS or Diploma in Medicine. AIPGMEE Exam 2012 was conducted on 8th of January 2012.
Eligibility criteria:
• Candidate must have MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized institute or university. • In case if an applicant has studied from a foreign country, schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and full registration is also require with the foreign degree. But candidate should have Indian nationality to register for this exam. • If any candidate has taken his/ her MBBS or BDS degree from Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible for this exam except for the candidates who have nomination from Government of India. •Candidate should have completed 12 months pre registration internship training before 31st March for a concerning year. • Applicant should have Indian nationality.
Exam pattern:
• This exam is one stage exam divided in two sections. This exam consists of 300 multiple choice questions. • Candidates have to answer all questions in 3.5 hours. • This exam has negative marks. For every wrong answer one mark will be deducted.
Application and Exam Instruction:
• You can download and submit application form for this exam online on their official web site only and application fees can be paid to any branch of State Bank of India along with challan form (challan to be downloaded from their web site). • Candidates have to submit challan copy to invigilator at the time of exam. • Candidates do not have to send any documents physically to AIIMS office.
