Important dates: • Last date for the submission of application form – 15/03/2013. • Date of examination – 21/4/2013 • Declaration of result – 07/5/2013 Eligibility Criteria • Students born after 1/07/1990 are eligible for appearing this examination • They should have attended a full-time regular school and college • A candidate under general candidate should have passed 10+2 with an average of 60% in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/Mathematics • For candidates under SC/ST category, from J&K or North-Eastern States there is a 10% relaxation i.e. they have to score an average of 50% in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/Mathematics. • Students studying Chemistry and Physics along with Biology can only apply for B.Tech in Bio – Medical Engineering, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology courses. Exam paper pattern: The paper contains 120 questions divided equally among 4 sections of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The paper has a duration of 150 minutes which gives you ample time to attempt all the questions. Moreover there is no negative marking for every wrong answer. Also the college has a large number of branches from which you can chose, to ensure that you have a bright future ahead.
