SAT is an entrance examination to get admission in college. Many colleges have customized entrance exam system but SAT is valid throughout the colleges. Course outline and exam pattern of SAT
SAT is mainly taken to analyze three basic skills of a candidate:
• Critical reading • Writing • And mathematics.
SAT Exam paper consists of
• Multiple choice objective kind of questions • Essay questions • Students produced response type of questions for mathematics.
Candidate has to finish SAT exam in 3 hours and 45 minutes. It has 10 different sections and each section is timed separately.
• Critical reading is consists of three sections and total time given for this section is 70 minutes. • Mathematics is also consists of three sections and all three sections have to be completed in 70 minutes. • Test writing analysis has three sections and it has 60 minutes to finish all three sections. • One variable section is to be completed in 25 minutes. This variable section is not scored in exam pattern of SAT and hence it can be based on any of three topics.
Exam dates:
Tentatively SAT exam is to be conducted on 9th March 2013 for which registration lasts till 8th February. You can also register till 2nd February 2013 with late fees.
