CMAT Exam
Sep 5th 2012, 07:22

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). CMAT is taken as one of the standard entrance exams by top business schools in India. For the academic year 2012 – 13 AICTE has also taken approval from Supreme Court to address the issue of mentally, physically or financially distressed people. This exam helps to evaluate general aptitude of a candidate for the purpose of various management programs. CMAT is a common entrance examination for management institutes but it does not give direct admission to any college. After receiving grades from CMAT exams, the admission of candidates in any institute or Management school is completely a decision of the B School or Management Institute. CMAT only allows a competency score for a candidate through its exams for Management studies.
